The studio behind the apps.

Who we are, what we do, how we work and where we publish.

Who we are

BufferPoint LLC is an app development and publishing studio in Sheridan, Wyoming. We build apps of our own and apps for clients, and we take both through store review and on to every update after it.

Our speciality is media and video: players, remote-first TV interfaces, big catalogs that stay fast, subtitles and multilingual interfaces. That work gave us our name.

What we do

Three kinds of work, held to the same standard: we build apps, we publish them, and we make some of our own.

  1. 01

    Apps for clients

Apps for smart TVs (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS), Android TV and Google TV, Fire TV, Android and iOS phones and tablets, and the web, plus the backends and APIs behind them.

  2. 02

    Publishing

Store submission and release management: listings, privacy policies, data-safety forms, content ratings, reviewer access, then updates and maintenance. For our own apps and our clients'.

  3. 03

    Our own apps

Cozy Player, a media player for smart TVs, is the first one we publish. More are in development. Each gets its own website and its own policies.

How we work

Four rules we hold to on every project, ours or a client's.

  1. 01

    Clear from day one

Every project starts with a written scope, timeline and agreement. Clients own their code, their store accounts and their data, and they can see progress on real builds at every step.

  2. 02

    Private by default

This website has no ads, trackers or third-party scripts, and it loads nothing from other servers, fonts included. The apps we build collect only what their features need, and each one says exactly what that is in its own privacy policy.

  3. 03

    Built on real hardware

We test on the TVs, remotes, phones and tablets people actually use, before anything reaches a store. Emulators are where testing starts, not where it ends.

  4. 04

    Store-ready

Store policies, privacy disclosures, accessibility and localization are handled from the first build, not the week before launch. When an app goes to review, its listing, privacy policy, data-safety answers, content rating and reviewer access are already in place.

Where we publish

We handle submission and releases on these stores, for our own apps and our clients'.
